Reza Imani

Reza Imani is an associate at ImageCat, Inc. He has deep experience in analysis, risk evaluation, and design of structures in multi-hazard loading conditions and extreme events. Reza’s research and practice experiences also involve applying the Performance-Based Design method to structures under seismic loading. Growing up in Iran, he witnessed a handful of devastating earthquakes. He firmly believes that small contributions to safer construction in many parts of the world could significantly impact those societies’ resilience. As Co-Chair, he looks forward to working with WHE committee members to make progress towards this goal.
