Manuel López graduated in Civil Engineering from the Universidad of El Salvador, as Master in Civil Engineer from the Illinois Institute of Technology and as PhD in Earthquake Engineering from the Università di Pavia, Italy. He works on subjects related to the assessment of vulnerability of structures and risk analysis.
